Have you ever?
Have you ever had an expectation?? Well my expectation was far different from my reality. Arrived to Mission Beach, Queensland. The shuttle quickly picked us up from the bus station and escorted us to our hostel. After quite a far drive we arrived at the YHA Treehouse. At first we were stoked because we got offered a upgraded double room for the same price as a dorm. We booked 3 nights. Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into! We then headed to our room “12” on the side of the building. Room was a two bit nothing double bed with 2 pieces of art hanging on the wall. Thats okay, we basically figured we would be spending most time outside anyway, Then headed upstairs to see the kitchen (extremely dirty) and the lounge (with no television). These are first world problems but this took things to a whole new level. There were bugs i had never imagined to live in a kitchen. Beetles, moths, spiders, cockroaches… all kinds of things. We found a big ass wolf spider looking thing in a coffee mug! WTF! After the first day we were able to enjoy the pool which was surprisingly clean…. ALTHOUGH when we woke up it was almost forced because the sun was rising right into our room at 8 AM. Pretty much terrible! ALL I WANT TO DO IS SLEEP IN A LITTLE! Afterwords we headed down to the beach for the day and spent time tanning and in the ocean.
